Leo Messi 2

I have written about Leo Messi in this blog but I would like to write about him again. I like football and like you imagine I like the Barça team. I really enjoy when Messi has one of those days that he makes amazing things with the ball stuck at his feet. People called him the god of football and a commentator in the match where Leo scored 4 goals said that if god was a football player he would be Messi. The headlines in the newspapers all around the world put him like the number one, before Cristiano Ronaldo, who is from the Real Madrid team. He and Messi have been compared those days and people were arguing about who is better. Now, nobody has a doubt.

I read an article in the newspaper "El País" where the author said that Messi makes the other football players feel powerless, and that he make it to the journalists that try to write about him because of a headline that said "Messi exhausts the adjectives", and it is true because in very few days, people have said about him that he is a playstation, the best, similar to Maradona, god, etc. The author of this article, called David Trueba, told an anecdota about a football match where Leo Messi have to make a penalti and the goalkeeper when sees that is him who is going to do it ask a partner where he used to throw the ball. The partner answered that he used to throw the ball into the goal.

When the journalists ask him that if has been proved that he is better than Cristiano Ronaldo because of the football match Real Madrid -Barça (0-2, one of the goals was from Leo Messi) he says that it is the team which is better than the Real Madrid. He is a really meek person and always talks about the team not only about him alone.

As I have said before I think he is the best.

MICHAEL JACKSON PART 2

Today I am going to continue talking about Michael Jackson.

In 1991 Michael Jackson published the album "Dangerous" which sold 32 milions of copies around the world. His first single was "Black or White" that reached an enormous success. Another single that succed specially in Europe was "Heal the World". In 1992 he created the Heal the World Foundation to help the children who were victims of violence, poverty and illnesses. This year was the Dangerous World Tour, which profits were destined to the Heal the World Foundation. In 1993 he won the prize Living Legend for his contribution to the music.

This same year, Michael Jackson was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey. He talked about his childhood, his relation with his parents and brothers and about his carreer. He also denyed that he was making a treatment to be white, he just had en illness. This interview was followed by 90 milions of persons in the United States. But the summer of this year Michael Jackson was accused for child abuses by Jordan Chandler who was 13 years old and his father. He said that it was in Neverland where he used to received children. It was an scandal some children and families accused him of being a pedophile. Although all of this he was declared innocent. He supported that he was innocent all the time and after his death, Jordan Chandler admited that he was liying because his father told him to earn some money because they were poor.

Michael Jackson agreed with the family to give them 22 milions of dolars and he retired the accusation.

In 1994 Jackson got married with Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of Elvis Presley. They met in 1975 but they got divorced two years after their wedding.

In 1995 he launched the double album "HIStory: Past, Present and Future" which was nominated to a Grammy. It sold more than 20 milions of copies around the world. The first single was "Scream" with his sister Janet Jackson, was nominated to a Grammy. In the end of 1995 Micahel Jackson was hospitalized because of an attack of nervous in a rehearsal. In 1996 he went on the HIStory World Tour which got 85 milions of dolars.

In 1996 he got married again with one of his nurses, Debbie Rowe with who he had two children, Michael Joseph Jr (known as Prince too) and Paris-Michael Katherine. They got divorced in 1999 but they were friends and Debbie Rowe granted the custody of the children to Michael Jackson. In 1997 he launched the album "Blood On The Dancefloor" with five new songs and eight remix. In 1999 he participated in some charitable events like one organizated by Pavarotti to help the children of Guatemala and the refugee of Yugoslavia, and one oraganizated by Michael Jackson called "Michael Jackson and friends" to the Cruz Roja and the UNESCO.

In 2001 he published the album "Invincible" and before this he made a concert in the Madison Square Garden to celebrate his 30 anniversary like singer, with his brothers and other famous artists. After this, he recorded "What more can I give" with some artits to help the victims of the terrorist attack of the 11th September, but it was not sold because Michael Jackson left Sony. He accused the president of Sony, Tommy Mottola, to be a racist and a gangster, which contract was canceled because he did not support the afroamericans artists. After, Sony did not renew the contract of Michael Jackson because he refuse to do a tour due to 2002. In this year was born the third son of him, Prince Michael Jackson II whom Jackson showed to the journalists out of the window with a blanket. He said sorry for this fact.

In 2003 Jackson granted some interviews to the journalist Martin Bashir that were recopilated in the documental "Living with Michael Jackson". In one of these interviews he appeared with a child of 13 years old called Gavin Arvizo who accused him of child abuses. Again, Michael Jackson said that he was innocent and was declared like that. In 2006 the authorities closed Neverland.

In 2009 he announced his return to the stages with new songs with the tour This Is It, but the 25th June he died because of a heart attack. The medical report said that the death was provoked by the combination of painkillers. The principal suspect is his personal doctor Conrad Murray. His burial was celebrated in the cemetery Forest Lawn in Los Ángeles.

Michael Jackson part 1

Today my sister is going to Madrid to see the musical of Michael Jackson with her boyfriend. She loves the musicals so she has seen a lot of them. This time my father wanted to go with her because he really likes Michael Jackson and when we were little he put us the clips of him in the tv and told us that he learned to dance with him. For his birthday, which was last March, we gave him the last Cd he recorded.

The musical, called "Forever King of Pop", in the preview was full of technical mistakes. Some microphones were off when the artists had to sing and on in very bad moments and a lot of shots very bad reflected in the screen at the stage. Despite these technical mistakes the show was saved by the dancers and singers that made an excellent work. The musical reviews the musical career of Michael Jackson with songs like "Bad", "Billie Jean" and "Black and White".

Michael Jackson, whose real name was Michael Joseph Jackson, was borned in Indiana in 1958. His mother, Katherine Esther Scruse, was a Jehovah's witness and his father, Joseph Walter "Joe" Jackson, worked in a factory and sang in a musical group called The Falcons. Michael Jackson had three sisters and six brothers. In 1964, he and his brother Marlon joined the band of their oldest brothers and Michael Jackson became the vocalist of the group. The band, called The Jackson Five acted in different clubs and in places like the famous theatre Apollo in New York. In 1968 Berry Gordy boss of the record company Motown Records decided to hire them after seeing a video of Michael Jackson with his brothers singing songs of James Brown. They launch their first single called "I want you back" which reached the first position in the list of Billboard Hot 100.

In 1972, when Michael Jackson was only 14 years old, he started his career alone with the album "Got to be there" but he did not leave the group with his brothers. But despite the success of Michael Jackson, The Jackson Five's sales fall. They wanted to write their songs but Gordy did not let them do that so they left Motown Records. In 1975 The Jackson Five signed a contract with Epic Records and changed their name for The Jacksons. Among 1976 and 1984 they launched six Cd and Michael Jackson wrote some of their songs.

In 1978 he play the rol of The Scarecrow in the film "El mago, remake" from the musical "El mago de Oz". There he met the producer Quincy Jones and Michael Jackson worked with him the next years. In 1979 he had to do a rhynoplasty because he had problems to breath and he hurted his nose dancing. He published the album "Off the Wall" this year with some songs written by Rod Temperton, Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. In 1980 he won a Grammy and three prizes AMA, one of them for the song "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough".

In 1982 he launched his second album with Epic, "Thriller", which became the best seller in the world. It remained 80 weeks in the list of Billboard 2oo. The success of this Cd was also for the clip of "Thriller" which last 13 minutes and was directed by John Landis. In 1983 he acted in the special tv program "Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever" where he played "Billie Jean" and made his famous moonwalk leaving people amazed.

In 1984 Michael Jackson shoot a commercial for Pepsi but at the shooting he suffered burns because of an accident with the fireworks to simulate a concert. Pepsi gave him 1.500.000 dolars that he donated to the Brotman Medical Center of Culver, California, where he was assisted. This year, Michael Jackson was invited to the White House by the president Ronald Reagan to give him a special prize for his humanitary work. Also in this year he won eight Grammys and although he did not do a tour with this album, he did it with The Jackson, with which he earned five milions of dolars. He gave them to a different acts of charity.In 1985 he published an album with other famous artists like Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen among other singers, called "USA for Africa" with the song "We are the world" and won milions of dolars to help Africa.

In 1986 he was diagnosed an illness so his skin lose pigmentation and he had to avoid the light of the sun. He began to go on a vegetarian diet and suffered anorexia. Rumors went around him about everything. He stared in the film 3D Captain EO, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. After this, in 1987, he launched the album "Bad" but although it was a successful album, it did not reach the success of "Thriller". He started the tour called "Bad World Tour" and appeared in the Record Guinness when he fill up the Wembley Stadium. Part of the money he earned with this tour was for hospitals and orphanages.

In 1988 he published his first autobiography called "Moonlight", which was one of the best sellers of this year according to The New York Times. Also this year he published the film with the same title "Moonlight". Jackson bought a building in California where he put a theme park, a zoo and a cinema. His nickname was "The king of pop" because of his popularity, and George H.W. Bush appointed him artist of the decade. In the birthday of the comedian and singer Sammy Davis, Jr he sang "You were there" and was nominated to an Emmy.

RICKY MARTIN

Ricky Martin is a singer from Puerto Rico. He was born in 1971 and his real name is Enrique Martín Morales. He started his career like an artist when he was a child, but he became famous because of the music group Menudo. After five years of work with this group he left it and went to New York and then to Mexico where he started his career like actor in the soap opera "Alcanzar una estrella II". It succed so much that Ricky Martin launched a Cd called "Muñecos de papel" where he was one of the principle figures, and he started a tour with Sasha Sokol. The first time he appeared in the cinema was with the film "Más que alcanzar una estrella" where he met his ex girlfriend Paloma, with whom he was two years.

He recorded his first album alone in 1991 for Sony Music Entertainment, and he became famous in Ámerica Latina. In 1993 he recorded his second album "Me amarás" and he took a breath with the music. He came back to the series of the tv in the popular serie General Hospital. In 1995, with his third album "A medio vivir" Ricky Martin sold more than 600.000 copies in 6 months. With this album he became famous around the world with the song "Maria". Since then he was requiered in a lot of international events. He was one of the latin singers who sang in the Cd of The Olympic Games of Atlanta in 1996. He sang for the film of Disney Hércules too.

In 1998 he launched his album "Vuelve" where appears the popular song "La copa de la vida", which is the oficial song of the Football Champion of France in 1998. The next year, Ricky Martin won a Grammy with the song "Vuelve". After this success he records a new album with songs in English and Spanish and he appeared in the Billboard magazine in the number one of the list of the 200 albums.

In 2001 he launched his album in Spanish "La historia" which was number one of the Latin Chart during five weeks. This same year he published in English "The Best of Ricky Martin" that sold a milion of copies. In 2006 he recorded the Cd "Ricky Martin: Unplugged" with a DVD whose first single was "Tu recuerdo" which he sang with La Mari of the group Chambao. This year he sang "Bambú" with Miguel Bosé for the Cd of this last one "Papito". In 2007 he won the prizes "Antorcha de plata", "Antorcha de oro" y doble "Gaviota de plata". This year Ricky Martin started his Tour Blanco y Negro in the United States but he had to cancel some concerts because of some healthy problems. He reboot the tour in Europe.

At the end of this year he recorded the song "No estamos solos" with the italian singer Eros Ramazzotti. To Ricky it is a dream make real. After this he recorded his first live album in Puerto Rico called "Ricky Martin Live- Black and White Tour". In the DVD were unpublished images in the backstage and the full concerts of the year 2007. He won two Grammys for this album.

Ricky Martin was appointed person of the year 2006 for the Latin Academy of recording. He was chosen for being an acclaimed artist, a passionate humanitarian and a mundial figure of entertainment. The ceremony was in New York and he received a tribute where artists like Miguel Bosé, Sin Bandera and Juanes among other artists sang songs of him.

Apart from his prizes for his music, he is ambassador of Unicef and he has won two Grammys for the Ricky Martin Foundation of Puerto Rico, which was created to protect the children.

Now Ricky Martin has declared that he is homosexual. He hid it because he was afraid of losing fans and his advisorys told him that it was the best he could do. He has explained that in Twitter where he has received the support of the people and artists like Juanes who has told him "Todo mi respeto y cariño para ti, Ricky, sos un caballero". His ex girlfriends has show him their support too and one of them says that she wishes that people respect him. In my opinion it is a good thing that he said that because now the next singers won't be so afraid to say it like was Ricky Martin.

MADRID

Last week it was Magdalena in Castellón. I have never gone to this party because I am from Valencia, so I took the advantage of it and I went to Madrid with a friend. Last February it was her birthday and I knew that she wanted to go to Madrid or Barcelona so I bought the tickets and that was my present for her. I chose Madrid because she loves Ángel Martín, a host in the program of the sexta channel "Se lo que hicisteis", so I called to the program to attend like public. I gave her an album with photos of us too because we are best friends and last year for my birthday she gave me another one. She was really happy with her presents but we had to wait to Magdalena to go to Madrid because we have not classes those days. We were looking forward to travel there and we made a lot of plans. My mother look for a cheap hotel in the center of Madrid, in Fuencarral near to my aunt's house. My father is from Madrid so I have family there and also has my friend.

We went on Monday in the morning by bus and we arrived at five o'clock to Madrid. The hotel was really good: it had a room for the two of us and a little toilet. It was really beautiful with the walls green. It had tv and air-conditioning too. We left the suitcases and went to see the city. The first day we visit "La cibeles", "La puerta del Sol" and "Alcalá". At night we wanted to go to a pub or something like that but it was really cold so we decided to stay in the hotel. We thought that we had to do things that usually we don't do because we were alone in Madrid and we want to have fun, so we went to the bathroom and take a shower with the piyamas and fighting and taking photos of that. Then we went out to buy a packet of cigarretes because we have never smoked. We come back to the room and smoked one. It was a good night.

The next day we have to get up early because we had to go to "Se lo que hicisteis" and we didn't know how to go there. We had to stay there at 12 o'clock and we get up at 7 o'clock, take a shower and get dressed. We decided to go with the underground because it is very cheap. We ask how to go there to a lot of persons to make sure that we were right. The woman that told us where was the set said that it was in Pozuelo de Alarcón so we went there really easy and at 9 o'clock we were there. But there was something strange because there were nobody and the set of telecinco is near the set of "Se lo que hicisteis" and there we did not see telecinco anywhere, only a big building with the number of the sexta channel. At ten o'clock we decided to ask the security guard that was there and he told us that was the building that was in front of us. My friend and I went there but the security guard was wrong. There they filmed only the program "El intermedio" so we come back to ask the security guard who told us that if we want we could enter to the building with the symbol the sexta channel, which later we discover that were the offices of the channel but not the set. The woman that was there was really nice and told us that the set of "Se lo que hicisteis" was in Alcobendas, really far from we were so we had to take a taxi because with the underground we would be late. The driver of the taxi was really friendly and he charges us less than it was. Once we were there we had to wait in a kind of hall with the rest of the public. There we could see how they film some sketch outside and say hello to all of them. Later we saw some other famous like an actress of the serie Los hombres de Paco and the comedians of El club del chiste. We had lunch there a sandwich that the program gave to all of us. They gave us 15 euros too, just the prize of the taxi (30 euros in total, 15 my friend and 15 me). We have fun there and it was really interesting.

We arrived at the center of Madrid late in the afternoon, so we had a walk and come back to the hotel. We were very tired but that night we wanted to go out so we get ready and went to a neighborhood called Malasaña but there were few people and the pubs were close because it was Tuesday so we were in the hotel at 1 a.m. The next day we went to the park El retiro which is so beautiful and big and then we went to visit my aunt and my cousins that live near our hotel. My foot really hurt me so we decided to go wiht the underground. We stayed there until the hour of have lunch because in the evening we had to meet my friend's aunt. So we went to Vallecas, where she lives, and stay there until 8 o'clock because my friend's cousin is our age and studies the same as me and we were talking with her all the evening. Her aunt took us to the hotel by car and we met some italians that we saw the first day. I explain this. The first day we were in the underground trying to find the way to arrive at the hotel when they ask us if we were italians (I don't know why but everybody think that we are italians, even there is people who talk to us in italian). Since that moment we have seen them all the days. So that night we went with them. But suddenly my friend told me that she had lost 100 euros! Her aunt had given her to her family and she didn't found them. She was really nervous but an italian told her that he would give her the money, so he took out of his pocket 100 euros and gave to my friend. She didn't want to accept the money but the italian insist so much that finally he took them crying. The next day was the our last day in Madrid so we met the italians in the Museo del Prado. We stayed there and then went back to the hotel to take the suitcases, but suddenly I realised that I hadn't the tickets of the bus. My friend went back to our hotel to look for the tickets because I couldn't run because of my foot. The tickets weren't there. We were a little late so we went to the bus station to try to get the tickets somehow. In the end we show our identification cards and we could go up to the bus. We arrived home really tired and I had to go to the hospital the next day because of my foot. Now I have my leg in plaster and I can't go out. Happy holidays for me...

GOSSIP GIRL

Gossip Girl is an american serie about teenagers based in the novels written by Cecily Von Ziegesar and it was created like a serie by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and started on tv in 2007. The characters are:

-Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively): she is the daughter af a rich family and has a brother. She has been in a boarding school in Connecticut and has been with the boyfriend of her best friend. After that she start meeting with Dan.

-Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester): she is the only daughter of a rich family and is the best friend of Serena. She is a spoiled girl and when she finish her relationship with her boyfriend Nate, she falls in love with Chuck.

-Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley): he is the son of a humble family and has a sister. He is a responsible boy and studies in the Upper East Side because of a scholarship. He is in love with Serena since he first met her and he goes out with her.

-Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford): he is the son of a rich family and is the boyfriend of Blair but he falls in love with Serena.

Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick): he is the son of a family who has a lot of power, so he gets all what he wants. He falls in love with Blair.

-Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen): she is the sister of Dan. She is a rebel and hard-working girl.

-Eric van der Woodsen (Connor Paolo): he is the brother of Serena. He is homosexual and the best friend of Jenny.

-Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohr): she is the best friend of Dan and has a humble family too. She is in love with Dan but after she falls in love with Nate. She is intelligent, modern and loves the cinema.

-Ruphus Humphrey (Matthew Settle): he is the father of Dan and Jenny. He is divorced and is in love with Lily van der Woodsen his first love.

-Lily van der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford): she is the mother of Serena and Eric. She is in love with Ruphus although she goes out with Chuck's father.

-Eleanor Waldorf (Margaret Colin): she is the mother of Blair and is divorced because her husband is homosexual and start a relationship with a man. Eleanor is the owner of a brand of clothes.

The serie starts with Serena van der Woodsen arriving to Manhattan after being in a boarding school in Connecticut, but all in the Upper East Side has changed. Her best friend Blair Waldorf doesn't want to speak with her because she knows that Serena has been with her boyfriend Nate who has falled in loved with Serena. On the other hand, Dan Humphrey who is in love with Serena since he was a child try to approach to her and finally they start a relationship.

But Gossip Girl not only has had exit with the teenagers but also with fashion. Its main characters have been the image of brands all around the world. Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl) has been the image of Nike, and a lot of magazines has had in their covers these actors and actress, like Vogue or Vanity Fair.

The sound track has given the serie a single style thanks to a list of the best songs of the moment. The musical supervisor Alex Pasavats ("Grey's Anatomy", "Tru Calling", " The O.C") is the responsible of that. Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Amy Winehouse are some of the artists whose songs appear in Gossip Girl.

In my opinion this is a great serie for all the people because it has all what you want. It is really interesting and the music and clothes that appear in it are just fantastic. I recommend it to all of you because I am sure that you are going to enjoy seeing Gossip Girl.

BANK ROBBERY

My father works in a bank in Manises, a town in Valencia. He is from Madrid but when he was young he moved to Valencia where he met my mother. Today he has gone to work by car like every day, but it was different. When he was attending a client three robbers came into the bank with a hostage threated with a knife. It was very early in the morning so there were very few people, just my father, two clients, the boss of my father and two workmates working. All the people run into a the boss' office except my father and his client because they couldn't. While two of the robbers were waiting in the car the other one went straight to my father's client and want him like a hostage. But the problem was that he is an old man who has just been operated of his legs and he couldn't walk well, so my father told the robber that he would go with him like a hostage and he will give him the money that they wanted. The robber accepted and my father opened the strongbox and gave him the money. After this the robbers have gone out by car and my father has called the police. They have found the car of the robbers but not the money neither the robbers. The police have said that these persons are robbing more banks in Manises and that they are really fed up because they can't catch them. We all hope the police will find them soon.

PLANS

This is the first year that I am going out at New Year's Eve with my friends. I have always gone with my parents and my sister to my grandparents' house where we had dinner and stayed with them until we got tired. Some years my aunt and my uncle came too and we had a good time there, all the family together. Last year it was the first time that my sister didn't come with us. She is now twenty-one years old and she has a boyfriend since he was seventeen. She now goes out with him and her friends and I remember that last year my parents and I went with my sister to her boyfriend's house with his parents and his brother who now is eleven years old. This year she goes to a friend's house in Naquera with him and her friends by car, but she can't go in the morning because she is working like a cashier.
On the other hand, I am going to my grandparents' house to have dinner and to stay with them and my parents, but then I will go to the Hilton hotel with my friends. I have bought a nice dress which is black and I would like to buy a pair of shoes and some straps. My best friend has also bought a black dress and we are going to the party really beautiful, of that am sure.
I look forward to go to this party and have a good time!

CHRISTMAS

Last Thursday it was Christmas Eve. Like every year I went to my town called Moraira, in Alicante, with my parents and my sister. There we meet the rest of my father's family. They are four sisters and four brothers and I have about twenty cousins. This year two of my cousins had babys, Daniela and Gimena. We were 42 although some people didn't come because of his job. As we are too many people, we meet in a big house of one of my aunts.
This year my father went to Moraira on Wensday to prepare some things for the party, but my mother my sister and I went on Thursday because my sister worked this day. We have a little house there and like every year one of my uncles and his wife and daughter stay with us and help us to prepare about 500 sandwiches. When we have finished preparing all the things we get dressed and go to my aunt's house where there is the rest of the family. In the house all is prepared and there are two big tables, one for the adults and the other for the cousins, but before eating we open the presents. One of my cousins, the oldest, take a microphone and speaks over it to distribute the presents. This year my presents were a beautiful dress and a pair of boots that I don't like, so my mother and I will go to buy anothers. My sister's presents were a sweater and another dress. My mother had a perfume and a strap, and my father some masks for decoration because he loves them.
After this we start eating and telling all the things that happened this year. I had a lot of cousins that are living abroad so they had a lot of things to say. One of them is a model and has lived in China but now is in Milan, another is living in France, another in Japan, and another in Ireland. My cousin who is a model fell down in the street because it was rainning and it was really funny although we were worried.
After having dinner we take out the tables, put music and dance until we get tired. This year we went home at eight o'clock in the morning. Next day we got up very late in the morning and went again to my aunt's house to have lunch at six o'clock in the evening. This day we play a game called Risk and the adults play cards and make a championship.
This year, in New Year's Eve I will go to my grandparent's house and then with my friends to the Hilton hotel because I have never been in a hotel in New Year's Eve and I hope it will be really funny.

DRUGS AND MUSIC

Today I am going to talk about an essay that I am doing for a subject in the University. My essay is about drugs and music. These concepts have been always related, even it is a famous phrase that tells "Sex, drugs and Rock 'n roll". There are more singers that have abused drugs and some of them died because of this.
An example of it is the famous singer Elvis Presley. He was born in Tupelo, EEUU but he and his family moved to Memphis. There the owner of Sun Records decided to edit a single of him. This fact gave Elvis the opportunity to participate in a radio programme. He became famous, specially for his moviment of the pelvis that gave him the nickname Elvis Pelvis. He made some films too. But The Beatles appeared and the popularity of Elvis decreased. Furthermore, in 1970 began to consume drugs, and he reached to the weight of 130. After falling inconscient several times in the stage, he died with only 42 years old.
An actual example is the case of Pete Doherty. He was born in Hexham, England. He was such an excelent student that he won a trip to Russia because of competition of poetry. He move to London to his grandmother's house, where he said that was destined to live. Pete Doherty went to University and began to study the career of english literature but only a year. After leaving the University he left his grandmother's house and went to live with his friend Carl Barât, and they formed together a band called The Libertines. On the other hand, there are a lot of songs whose lyrics talk about drugs. They often talk in a positive way and it is really strange that they criticize them. This can affect to the teenagers that listen to music every day because they love the singers who are idols for them and want to be like these singers. But of course we cannot blame the musicians because they should have the freedom to create their music.
Finally, music and drugs are related in other way. When teenagers go out to discos or pubs where they dance and listen to music, and usually drink alcohol and take other substances.

LEO MESSI

Lionel Messi has won the golden ball, a prize that is given to the best football player in the world every year that it is given by a french magazine. But this time he has made a record because he has obtained 473 votes out of 480. I admired Messi because I think he is a modest person and he has never been involved in scandals like the most part of the football players.

Leo Messi borned in Rosario, Argentina in the 1987 and since he was a child he liked playing football but at the age of 11 he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency. The most famous club in Argentina in those days were interested in capturing Messi but they couldn't pay the treatment for his illness, so the FC Barcelona offered him to pay the treatment if he moved to Barcelona and Leo's family and he were agree with this offer. In 2004 he was given the opportunity to play for the Spanish national team but he declined because he wanted to play with the Argentinian team and so he did.

Because of his dazzling skills he has won a lot of prizes during his career and he is just 22 years old. When he received his last prize, he said that he has won it because of his workmates and that anyone of his team could have been the winner.

We don't know much about his private life but it is a good characteristic of Leo Messi, because he doesn't like being in gossip magazines or something like that. We only know that he has an argentinian girlfriend.

He is simply the best not only like person but also like a football player.

THE LYNX PARDINUS

Yesterday I watched in the news that the lynx pardinus is in danger of extinction. This animal eats rabbits which are dying because of an illness and as a result of that the lynx doesn't have enough food. The lynx pardinus is also in danger of extinction owing to other reasons related with humans. We are destroying their habitat and there are hunters who kill them. I don't understand how someone can kill an animal but is extremely worse if the animal is in danger of extinction.In my opinion the police should take more control of these hunters and be more estrict with them.

On the other hand, it has been proposed the creation of a place where the lynx pardinus could live without having to worry about hunters and humans that bother them and also they will have people who will take care of their lives and try to make the lynx pardinus to reproduce so in that way they won't be in danger of extinction.

MORE MUSIC

Yesterday I was watching Buenafuente like every day ( I only see the part where Berto, a collaborator, appears. Some day I will talk about him because he is just fantastic) when Andreu introduced a singer called Jamie Cullum. I listened to him and I really like it. He plays the piano like if it was so easy and has a voice that I love. I think that his music is different and relaxing and he plays jazz.

In my opinion it is interesting for artists that programmes on tv give them the opportunity to make people know about their music because nowadays the musicians, specially the new singers, have a lot of problems to send their CD's and this is a way to make publicity of their music. It is true that they are expensive although it is not the artists fault. And we can not forget that without them the music that we love wouldn't exist.

STRANGE WEATHER

These last months the weather is very strange. We are in November and there are days really sunny and we go with t-shirts when last year we went with jackets and it was very cold. Yesterday I saw in the news that shops are lowing the prices of the winter clothes like sweaters, gloves... although the sales are after Christmas because they are not solding this type of clothes. The shopkeepers say that they are solding summer clothes like if we were in July. At least there is something good about this weather and it is that we could buy clothes cheaper than if the weather was colder.

LONDON

Last year, in September, I travelled to London. It was a present from my uncle because of my eighteenth birthday. It was the first time that I travelled by plane, a little old to be my first time but I am really afraid of travelling by plane. When we arrived to the airport of London, we tried to find the house of my uncle's friends because we were going to stay there, but we took the wrong train. We got lost the first day with the suitcases and really tired. But soon we get the right train because we ask people who were there and they were very kind.

We only stayed in London for five days so every day we got up early to be able to visit the city. The first day I went to Camden Town where I bought a lot of things for my family and me and then I went along the Thames with my uncle by boat and I saw The London Eye, The Tower Bridge and a lot of beautiful things. The last day I visited the British Museum and it was really interesting although I was really tired. I remember that the days I stayed there it was sunny and it didn't rain although we were in London. We were very lucky.

The experience was really fun and my uncle's friends were very nice although I couldn't practice my English because they were from Spain. A thing that really shocked me was that everyone dressed different and odd but nobody looked at you like if you were strange and I like that very much. Another thing that in my opinion was interesting is that there were a lot of people who speak Spanish and a lot of foreigners. Definitely I really like my travel to London.

MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC

Today I am going to talk about music. I would like you to recommend the band Arctic Monkeys. They have recorded a new album that is in the shops just a few months ago. I could not give you an opinion about their last CD because I haven't listened to all the songs, but I really like their other CDs. They play indie rock and the singer, Alex Turner, writes the lyrics of the songs. In my opinion they are fantastic.



They are all from Sheffield, England and I love the accent of Alex Turner. Their first album was called Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not with the single I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor thanks to it that they won some prizes. A curious thing is that they become famous by demos that were circulating in the Internet.

Another musician that I also like is Pete Doherty. He had a band called The Libertines, but he had problems with drugs and the band was dissolved, but Pete Doherty formed another band called Babyshambles although, in my opinion, it was worse than his first group. Pete Doherty plays rock indie, like Arctic Monkeys, and has amazing songs but his main problem are with drugs. He has been in prison for this reason and has had problems with her last girlfriend, the model Kate Moss.

CRAZY FANS

Last Wednesday I went to the cinema to watch New Moon, the second part of Twilight. It was the premiere. Yes, the cinema was plenty of crazy teenagers. Before I arrived to the cinema I saw a girl with wolf's ears on her head and a t-shirt with a wolf and the name of Jacob Black on it, who is a character of the film. I think people are crazy with this film and the books. Last year when I watched the first film, Twilight, when the vampire, the actor Robert Pattinson, appeared in the film all the cinema started to shout at the screen. Like if he could hear them. Of course I couldn't hear anything of his dialogue. This time they shouted with Robert Pattinson and the worewolf, in the film called Jacob Black.
I didn't like the first film, but the second is more interesting, maybe because it has another film director. They didn't show everything that appears in the book, but the books are always better than the films.
On the other hand I saw some interviews to Robert Pattinson and he tells that some fans ask him to bite them or to marry him and they are shouting all the time. If I were him I would be a little scared because, definitely, fans are crazy.

SONGS FOR THE SÁHARA

Tonight it will be a special concert in Madrid. It is a concert where singers and actors will sing together and the money that they earned will be for the people of the Sáhara. In this project colaborate musicians like Estopa, El Canto del Loco, Conchita, Bebe, Pereza or Manuel Carrasco; and actors like Santi Millán, Juan José Ballesta, Alberto Amarilla, Álex González, Edu Soto, Inma Cuesta or Lluvia Rojo. They had recorded the CD but they don't earned any money, which will be destinated specially to buy camels for the Sáhara because provide milk, it is used as a transport and their meat is very appreciated there.
The concert will be introduced by the actor Santi Millán and the songs will be clasics of pop rock which are in the CD that will be in the shops tomorrow.
In my opinion it is a fantastic idea to help people who are living in really bad conditions and these famous people can do something to make their lives a little better, and also they admitted that it was fun.

WEEKEND

Hello! I'm Susana and this is my new blog. Today I'm going to talk about this weekend. On Friday I went to the University by train because I live in Valencia, and there I met a new girl in my class. When I arrived to my house I was very tired and hungry because it was five o'clock in the afternoon and I din't eat anything. I slept the rest of the day.
Yesterday in the morning, I got up at ten o'clock because I had to buy a present for a friend for her birthday. I went to the centre of the city and I met some other friends. We bought her a bag, a pair of earrings and a strap. Then in the afternoon I did my homework. Around eight o'clock in the afternoon I started to get dressed because my friend, called Miriam, celebrated her birthday that night and she invited us to have dinner. We went to her "falla", and after she had opened the presents we went to a pub to dance and have fun.
This morning my family have come to have lunch to my house. When they have gone out, I started to write this blog. I hope you enjoy it!
